Sector experience
Different buildings. The same discipline.
Retail giants, global fashion, the City, the classroom and the data hall. The environments have almost nothing in common; the discipline does not change between them. If the infrastructure carries the client's business, it is designed against a named standard, tested in full and documented in a form somebody else can audit.
On the naming of clients
Client names below identify sectors and programmes in which the group has worked. They are not endorsements, and no partnership, approval or ongoing engagement is implied unless separately stated in writing. Named references, with the client's consent, are available to parties in an active procurement process.
Global retail & logistics
Amazon
High-bay warehouse and fulfilment environments. Scanners, VoIP and wireless coverage designed for steel racking that absorbs signal and defeats desk-based survey assumptions.
Fashion & retail
Calvin Klein
Store and head office fit-outs delivered to brand fit-out programmes, out of hours, with zero trading disruption and no derogation from the brand standard.
Financial services
Banks & finance houses
Trading floors, dealing rooms and back office. Screened cabling, strict segregation, controlled change and a complete audit trail against the change record.
Channel
Large IT providers
We deliver the physical layer so the integrator delivers the platform. White label, badged, and issued on the partner's own documentation.
Education
Schools & academies
Whole-school rewires and wireless refreshes inside six-week holiday windows. DBS-checked engineers, safeguarding aware, programme fixed to the term date.
Colocation
Data centres
Cabinet builds, cross connects, pre-terminated trunk, cold aisle containment and phased live migration with a rollback position at every stage.
Housing & public sector
Housing associations
Scheme-wide infrastructure delivered alongside the group's warden call, fire and CCTV teams. One contractor, one programme, one set of records.
Industrial & distribution
Distribution centres
Fibre backbone across the shed, hardened outlets, dock-level connectivity and full-site wireless validation against the racking as built.
What actually changes
The standard is constant. The constraint is not.
Contractors who tell you every building is the same have not worked in enough of them. What varies between sectors is the constraint that governs the programme — and a contractor who has not identified that constraint before pricing will discover it on site, at your cost.
| Sector | Governing constraint | How we price and plan around it |
|---|---|---|
| Retail & trading environments | Trading hours | Out-of-hours and night working as the default assumption, not a variation. Store re-opened and trading-ready at a stated time, with a defined rollback if a phase overruns. |
| Financial services | Change control | Works planned to the client's change window and change board. Full audit trail against the change reference. Screened systems and strict segregation where dealing floors demand it. |
| Education | Term dates | Whole-school programmes scoped to six-week holiday windows. DBS-checked engineers, safeguarding-aware working, and a hard completion date rather than a target one. |
| Warehousing & distribution | Physical environment | Racking, height, dust, temperature and vehicle movement drive the design. Wireless validated against the racking as built, not as drawn. Hardened outlets at dock level. |
| Data centres & colocation | The outage window | Permit-driven, escorted or unescorted, phased with a tested rollback at every stage. We will decline a window we do not believe is deliverable and explain why. |
| Housing & public sector | Occupied premises & procurement | Resident-occupied working, coordinated with the group's warden call, fire and CCTV teams. Full PQQ, insurance and accreditation pack for public procurement processes. |
| Higher-risk buildings | Statutory evidence | Records, product traceability and fire stopping evidence produced in a form that hands into the golden thread under the Building Safety Act 2022. Agreed at tender, not retrofitted. |
| Healthcare | Infection control & continuity | Works planned around clinical activity. Where the fixed electrical installation is touched in a medical location, BS 7671 Section 710 as revised by A4:2026 applies and is delivered under the group's electrical certification. |
Estates & frameworks
One standard across every building you hold.
The problem with a multi-site estate is rarely the first installation. It is the twelve subsequent contractors who each labelled to their own scheme, tested a sample, and left no drawing behind. Five years later nobody can trace a link without unplugging it, and the remediation cost exceeds the original installation.
A framework with us fixes the standard rather than just the rate. One labelling convention, one certificate format, one drawing standard, one record set — applied to a two-point change in a regional office exactly as it is applied to a headquarters fit-out. It is not a premium service. It is the only version we sell.
- Estate auditWe survey a representative sample of your buildings, test what is there, and report on condition, capacity and documentation gaps — including where existing infrastructure is sound and should be retained.
- Estate standard issuedA single written specification covering category, class, manufacturer system, labelling convention, certificate format and drawing standard. Your document, not ours.
- Rate card agreedFixed rates per point, per cabinet, per survey and per attendance, with no minimum call-out padding and no scramble premium for out-of-hours work.*
- Records centralisedEvery certificate, drawing and photograph filed against the building and returned to you. When you re-tender, the incoming supplier inherits a complete record rather than a mystery.
- Reviewed annuallyStandards move. We review your estate standard against the current instrument set each year and issue a marked-up commentary, whether or not you place work with us that year.
